Both Hands Project!

Several months ago, we learned about the Both Hands Foundation through the blog of an old family friend who is in the process of adopting three children from Congo.

"Both Hands' mission is to serve widows, orphans, and adoptive families.

Both Hands' purpose is to help people raise funds for orphans while serving widows through home improvement projects."

The video from JT Olson and other videos of families completing their projects moved us so deeply that we knew we needed to take on this mission. The concept is just so beautiful.

We applied through Lifesong For Orphans and have been approved to do a Both Hands Project to aid in the financial assistance of our adoption. We had an informative conversation and pep talk with JT Olson over the phone last week and are meeting with several local leaders in the community this week to begin the search for our precious widow. We will be forming our team of volunteers in the next few weeks as well! We look forward to seeing how God will use this rescue mission to serve a widow in need while drawing us one step closer to bringing our children home!
